Role: CNC Programmer Setter Operator

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £16-20ph Days Only

The Company

A high precision engineering company based in Gloucester with a wealth of experience within the oil and gas sector. My client is continually expanding with new machinery and tooling, developing into other sectors such as Aerospace and Nuclear.

The Role

Working in the machine shop, the CNC Programmer Setter Operator is responsible for:

• Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC machinery.
• Multi-Tasking machines such as turning, milling, grinding and manual machinery.
• Work on all operations associated with the manufacture of high integrity components.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Use both metric and imperial measuring equipment.

Experience/ Skills

• Ideally be an apprentice-trained CNC Machinist or equivalent.
• Experienced with a minimum of 3 axis milling machinery.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Knowledge and experience with Mazatrol controls.

Package

• Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
• £16 – 20ph depending on experience.
• 28 days holiday.
• Career progression.
