Operational Finance Manager Vacancy

COMPETITIVE - Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Key Responsibilities:

- Management of cash allocation processes
- Production of client remittances and sales invoices
- Processing of purchase invoices including correct VAT treatment
- Analysis of bank accounts
- Production of bank reconciliations and ownership of banking systems
- Maintenance of sales ledger and credit control
- Maintenance of purchase ledger
- Calculation of accruals and prepayments
- All input of data into accounting system (SUN)
- All accounting reconciliation and checks of data entered into SUN
- Assistance with variance reporting and understanding month on month and budget variances with FP&R Manager and FD
- Providing cover for FP&R Manager where required
- Assistance with regulatory reporting
- Assistance with budget process
- Assistance with data capture for KPIs and MI
- Review of suppliers and involvement in supplier audits
- Interaction with external auditors and supply of key information
- Production of VAT return information
- Production of corporation tax information
- Production of ONS return information
- Production of processes and procedure maps, continuously improving processes where possible

Key Skills:

- AAT qualified
- Experience of a operational finance role in industry
- Financial services knowledge or experience preferable
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of performing to deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficient in team management
- Good knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of accounting systems (SUN, Sage)
